Obituary for Elvia Landey Paez

With lots of love, yet, heavy hearts, we announce the departure of Elvia Landey Paez. Surrounded by her loved ones, on Wednesday, May 30th, she took her final breath on Earth. And, began her journey up the stairway to Heaven. Where, without a doubt, she was welcomed with open arms, into His Kingdom.

Elvia was born in Costa Rica, Sinaloa, MX, to Florentino Landey Aguilar and Maria I. Paez, on November 13th, 1951.

From a young age, her family moved to San Luis Rio Colorado, MX. Where she was raised with her beloved sisters and cousins. She dearly loved her cousins, as the brothers she never had. They will forever share a bond that will never be replaced.

She left Mexico, when she married Jesus A. Manriquez, and, became a resident of the Central Coast. Together they built a home in Nipomo, CA..

This amazing woman, touched every person she met. She had a heart of gold, that will never be be duplicated. Her attitude was the life of any gathering. Her smile and laughter would melt your heart. She was the most sincere person you could meet. She was a big kid at heart. Children loved her, because she would sit and color with them. Or, participate in their games. She spoiled them all.

Her heart was to make everyone happy.... make everyone smile. Her laughter and her love for music will be remembered, eternally. She would brighten any situation, with her presence, alone.

Elvia is survived by her sons; Jesus A, Manriquez, Jr. (Jessica Ybarra) and Alex Landey Manriquez (Dominique). Mother; Maria I. Landey Paez, sisters; Maria Christina Landey Ramirez, Rosario Landey Carrillo (Antonio), Concha Landey Carrillo (Ricardo), Lupe Landey, Estela Landey Barajas (Juan), Griselda Landey Cruz (Alfonzo), and Veronica Landey. Grandchildren; Jazmyne, JiAnna, Jesus III, Nathan, and Annalise. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, loved ones and beloved friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Florentino Landey Aguilar and younger sister, Evangelina Landey Patiño.

Although she leaves us with a huge gap in our hearts. We know she is dancing, singing and laughing with all those we have lost in our lives. She will be dearly missed. But, always loved. Her love for music will be with us, until me meet again. We love you.

Visitation will be held at the Chapel of Dudley-Hoffman Mortuary on Monday, June 4, 2018 at 5:00 pm with a Rosary at 6:00 pm.
