Obituary for John Breidenstein

John Breidenstein
John Peter Breidenstein 58, went home peacefully to our Lord and Savior on March 7, 2018 after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Buffalo New York on July 17, 1959. He joined the United States Navy Seabees and traveled many places. John worked for Adt Securities for 15 years and was a licensed contractor and owner of Breidenstein & Sons Construction, he took pride in his business and was known by his clients for being fair and honest. John also loved volunteering for Habitat for Humanity Santa Maria, a member of Santa Maria Elks Club and a member of Victory Outreach Church Santa Maria for the last 4 years and was close to Brother Manual.
Among his family and community he was well known for his personality and character; his overwhelming generosity and never expecting anything in return, he had a passion for training up his children by giving them unconditional love whether they were his own or not and those who were around him in living a well-balanced life, jokes ready for any occasion, and an example that God blesses those who forgive. He was a faithful servant of God. He loved talking to the elderlies by listening to their stories of their life and would say we can learn more by their examples.
He was smart and funny, he could outwit all of us, always finding ways to make people laugh; he was the best jokester around. He had a passion for the outdoors, loved fishing, hunting, camping, riding his motorcycle, long conversations with friends and cooking for his family. He’ll live forever through all the memories he’s built during his lifetime with families and friends. John will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
John is survived by his wife Elsa Breidenstein, his siblings Deborah, Susan, Daniel (Amy), David (Joann), Joseph (Mary Clare), his children John Breidenstein Jr, Brittany Schuller (Gerson), Summer Breidenstein, Gabriel Breidenstein, Michael Breidenstein, Jonathan Parra (Chantal) Candace Parra, Joshua Parra, Jacob Parra, Brittany Pabon. Grandchildren Kaylynne, Ezra, Levi, Mela, Elisa, Skyla, Starla, Jonathan, Mathew, Andrew and numerous nieces and nephews.
John was preceded in death by his parents John and Shirley Breidenstein and his sister Gloria Weatherston.
A celebration of life will be held at Victory Outreach Church Saturday March 24th, 2018 at 4
